I can't help myself.

I could do this all night.
But my baby's crying.
So I've gotta go.
But check it.
Later.

Bet you didn't know I was from the hood.
Cause I'm not.
Good night.

  2. I really like these ones! You definitly have an advantage with your height! To get those shots I need a step ladder. :)

The cropping is awesome, the expressions are genuine and real, and they look like kids should look like. Having fun and exploring the world around them. Did you use some brown tones in some of them?

  3. I'm impressed Paigers. You are getting really good. When you come take my family pics I'll have to go through the blog with you and show you my favorites. Btw- how do you like your hair now? I'm considering going short again...

  4. I really like the effects and the angles. I actually think the kids expressions seem contrived, but that's just me. I know from a few photo shoots I had with Henry that it takes hours upon hours to get just a few great shots of kids and sometimes you can't even get one. How long did you have with them? I think you're doing great things!

  5. Thanks everyone! Slowly but surely I'm finding what kind of pictures I like to take and what I don't like. The kids expressions in these shots were actually pretty genuine. I really didn't have to coach them much - if at all - to get these shots. And I think that's what I like about them. As far as time...I had about an hour to an hour and a half for all three kids. I was busy. And Gabe was with me half the time! That was funny. He wanted to be in the pictures, too.

And Ruth, the ones of me looking down on the kids actually happened cause I was on a hill while they were swinging on a rope swing. It was fun.
